Henriette Meijerink graduated from RU Groningen with a degree in Dutch Law.
“During my studies, I assisted asylum seekers at Vluchtelingenwerk. After working as a personal injury claims handler at an insurance company, I was sworn in as a lawyer in 1999 and have since been practicing, specializing in asylum and refugee law.”
“Since 2004, I have specialized in psychiatric patient law. After working in partnership with other lawyers for an extended period, I have been practicing as an independent lawyer at Schouwenburg Advocaten since 2019. As of October 2024, my office is located in Assen under the name Meijerink Advocatuur.”
My areas of law
